Single origin dairy and farmgate café tour
Looking for the ultimate food tourism experience while visiting the 12 Apostles and Great Ocean Road?
Ever wondered how milk, cheese and ice cream you buy in shops is made and where it comes from?
Julian and Dianne Benson have built up Apostle Whey Cheese over more than 40 years and the business combines their passion for food, animal welfare, regenerative farming and the environment.
During the two hour tour (Monday to Friday only) you’ll learn why they got into cheese, milk and gelato production in 2005, why a healthy environment is important to their business and the challenges they overcame over four decades to develop a sustainable farm.
The tour also includes a visit to the “mooternity” ward where calves are born, the milk and cheese-making facilities as well as seeing the cows being milked at 4pm.

Payment in advance, confirmations and cancellation policy
We will contact you to confirm the tour date and time and collect full payment in advance of your visit. We do not accept farm tour payments online through the website.
Cancellations in writing to [email protected] more than 24 hours before tour date/time will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the confirmed tour time and no-shows are not eligible for a refund.
